what should I wear?

if you look at the wedding schedule of events, attire should be listed accordingly for each event. please note there are Dress code regulations throughout the property which you can find on the resort website.

for the rehearsal dinner, greenbrier casual includes jackets with no tie, jeans or nice slacks for men, and skirts/slacks with tops or dresses for women.

note that everything will be walking distance throughout the weekend, should you wish to go that route, so pack your shoes accordingly!

what will the weather be like at the greenbrier in October?

Daily high temperatures range from 69° to 59°, rarely falling below 45° or exceeding 78°. Daily low temperatures range from 48° to 38°, rarely falling below 27° or exceeding 58°.
we recommend packing a light jacket or wrap because the nights can definitely cool down. better than the Texas heat, though!

are kids allowed at the wedding?

while we love kids, this is an adult-only ceremony and reception. if you must bring your kids, there will be on-site babysitters available to book separately. kindly let us know and we can connect you with our contact to book.

does the greenbrier offer on-site parking?

yes, valet parking is available for $30 per night or a plethora of complimentary self-parking is available on property. upon arrival, concierge can direct you to the open lots, should you opt for self-parking.

if i’m not staying at the greenbrier, can I enjoy the amenities?

yes, absolutely! please let us know ahead of time, though, so we can share your names and any desired activities with the resort to avoid any wait times.

will there be shuttles throughout the wedding weekend?

yes, A shuttle service will be available to transport guests to and from the ceremony; However, should you elect to walk, it is a short and beautiful walk through the garden, weather permitting.

note there are also shuttles available from the greenbrier lobby to take you to various activities/areas located throughout the property like the gym, outdoor pool, golf courses, gun club, etc.

what happens after the reception?

if you’re still standing after the reception, let’s head the bride + groom are going to have an informal brunch before everyone leaves. if you’re still in town, come as you are and grab a bite to eat or just to say hi before the newlyweds are off to HONEYMoon location!

will there be shuttles to and from the airport(s) to
the greenbrier or lewisburg?

yes, Shuttles and/or private transportation is available from all area airports to The Greenbrier for a fee. Please call The Greenbrier Transportation Department at (855) 453-4858 for rates and reservations. you can find all of the necessary transportation info here.

if you plan to reserve a car for the weekend and would like to share with other guests, please let us know if we can be of assistance in coordinating. we would imagine there are a number of you flying in to the same airport(s) at the same time(S).

where will the cocktail hour take place?

immediately after the ceremony at the greenbrier chapel, there will be a brief cocktail hour on the trellis lounge before heading to the reception in the cameo ballroom.

what IS THE RSVP DEADLINE?

RSVPs are due on august 26, 2022. We are asking that all guests reply on the rsvp page here to share all pertinent info with us prior to the wedding weekend.

will there be a vegetarian option available?

yes, the greenbrier will be able to accommodate all allergies and dietary restrictions. you can submit your specific dietary restrictions on the rsvp page.

what is the deadline to secure the discounted room rate at the greenbrier?

please make sure you book your room(s) by september 6, 2022 at 5 p.m. to take advantage of our discounted room rate.

kindly note that the room rate can be applied to additional nights beyond friday - sunday but we’ll need to know ahead of time to alert the greenbrier accordingly.
